Job Purpose
You will lead the deployment of the GSK Production System (GPS) at a major manufacturing site in Parma, Italy. You will work closely with site leadership, operations, quality and technical teams to drive continuous improvement, capability building and measurable improvements in safety, quality, service and cost. Your Responsibilities
- Lead GPS deployment across the site and manage the GPS roadmap and maturity assessments.
- Coach and train leaders and teams on GPS tools and continuous improvement methods.
- Run and govern the site GPS council (cross-functional site leadership forum), ensuring clear governance, measurement and follow-up.
- Manage key improvement projects, from scoping and prioritization to handover and benefits realization.
- Work closely with central GPS teams and other sites to share best practice and align on capability development.
- Support site strategy deployment and translate priorities into focused improvement workstreams.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience, of which 5 years in operational excellence or continuous improvement leadership roles in a highly regulated manufacturing environment i.e. pharma, biotech, food, chemical, oil and gas, aviation, automotive, etc.
- Solid, applied working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools; formal certification (Green or Black Belt) with demonstrated experience leading large-scale improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, developing and upskilling teams across multiple levels, with strong focus on building sustainable capability and leadership depth.
- Strong project planning and execution skills with experience managing multiple initiatives.
- Clear communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work as part of a leadership team.
- Fluency in Italian and English mandatory – both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or professional certifications in relevant fields.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or advanced Lean certification.
- Experience deploying Operational Excellence systems in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing sites (GMP environment).
- Familiarity with program management office (PMO) practices and Agile ways of working.
- Track record of leading transformational change and delivering measurable business benefits.
- Experience using digital tools, data analytics, or automation to support improvement work.
Working Model
This role is on-site with hybrid working available as agreed with the site leadership. You will be expected to spend regular time on the manufacturing floor and attend in-person leadership and GPS council meetings.\n
