We design and manufacture a complete range of transportation systems, from high-speed trains to electric buses, autonomous subways, signalling and digital mobility solutions. Joining us means joining a truly global community of 36300 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact. /p pThe candidate, as a part of the Sub-System train team, is responsible for a complete system like: HVAC, external and internal doors, fire protection, bogie etc. /p pHe/she will be in charge of integration and validation of the sub-system in the train. /p pHe/she will manage RD Work packages, propose and drive Sustaining Plan (Second Source, Management of Obsolescence, Redesign to Cost, New development), collect and formalize the return of experience related on solution. /p pHe/she will be responsible for managing system requirements and development with supplier and customer (Internal and external Units) during all phases of the project. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pManages project requirements and system development with suppliers and customers during all phases of the project. /p pPrepares Design Review with suppliers (sub-system/product level) or with Train System Engineer (train/product integration level). /p pEnsures the quality of the deliverables. /p pManages the technical Sub-System Project Single List Issues/Risk Analysis Mitigation Plan. /p pEnsures that standard key design rules are applied with Platform and Sourcing colleagues. /p pEnsures that the specific tools are well applied. /p pSupports the sites if requested on critical technical issues for actual and past projects. /p pReports the progress of the project (meetings, weekly/regular report). /p pShe/he is in charge of managing its work package and budget. /p pSupport the foreign sites for relations with national customers. /p h3Educational Requirements and skills /h3 pMechanical or Energy Engineer degree. /p pExperience on design, in railway vehicles or automotive domain is preferred. /p pGood communication skills, pro-activity, team working, strategic vision. /p pReadiness to travel. /p pEnglish conversational/writing/reading fluent mandatory. /p pFrench conversational/reading advanced level is a plus. /p pWe believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is a lever to running a sustainable and successful business.
