Job Description
Overview
Reporting directly to the Project Director, this Project Manager will manage the project’s daily activities, overseeing planning, design, and construction activities provided by ICON.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Adopt and support an engagement-led culture prioritizing health, safety, and well-being.
2. Develop a comprehensive Client Project Requirements document for managing design and changes.
3. Support project management functions including organization, budgeting, programming, and implementation.
4. Assist in design development, drawing reviews, and document management.
5. Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders for project execution.
6. Review cost estimates and contribute to budget reports.
7. Manage procurement of consultants, contractors, and packages like technology and FFE.
8. Monitor construction progress and scope changes relative to schedule.
9. Support commercial partnership deal fulfillment where needed.
10. Maintain documentation for contracts, insurance, and warranties.
11. Manage project and design risk registers.
12. Coordinate materials testing and resolve on-site risks and conflicts.
13. Oversee project close-out activities including testing, commissioning, and manual compilation.
14. Ensure safety procedures are followed on-site.
15. Manage delivery and installation of Owner’s CDW.
16. Monitor design issues and support resolution.
17. Support schedule monitoring and issue tracking.
18. Review change order requests and communicate with client.
19. Coordinate site tours as requested by the client.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Experience in design, construction, or related services industry.
* Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with WBS, change orders, budget formats, and plans.
* Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
* Professional attitude and effective communication skills.
* Experience with building permits and external stakeholder approvals in Italy is a plus.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to multitask and work independently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
