Responsibilities
* Develop/review/approve PFDs, P&IDs, batch cycle times, equipment/instrument datasheets and specifications.
* Main point of contact with plant supervision providers and with E&I suppliers and contractors.
* Manage engineering firms, as well as manage/collaborate with construction managers to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
* Approve equipment vendor selection and submittal drawings.
* Inspect/approve field installations.
* Contribute to safety hazard reviews (HAZOP).
* Collaborate with KI engineering group on projects and provide expertise, guidance, and recommendations on global projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Automation or electrical engineering university or high school degree (diploma di perito tecnico).
* Highly interested in industrial process optimization.
* 2 – 3 years of work experience in an industrial setting (food or life science industry preferred).
* Must be able to communicate effectively in Italian and English.
* Base location will be in Cavriago (Reggio Emilia).
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
* 2 - 3 years of supervision software design experience (PLC, SCADA, Siemens TIA Portal).Good 2D AutoCAD knowledge.
* Capable of working with a high degree of autonomy.
* Very flexible to work on multiple projects at one time.
* Highly communicative and "teamcentric" to work closely with all stakeholders involved.
* Siemens programming knowledge and skills would be a plus.
