We are looking for an Industrialization Engineer who will play a key role in transforming cutting‑edge R&D designs into robust, scalable, and cost‑efficient industrial solutions.
In this role, you will act as a vital connector between R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, ensuring fast, high‑quality product availability – especially for Early Adopter Programs – and a seamless transition to Start of Production.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end industrialization activities across all project phases (MS1–MS5), ensuring readiness for Start of Production
* Define and manage the industrialization master plan, including process concepts, capacity, validation strategy, and risk mitigation
* Collaborate closely with International R&D to embed manufacturability, testability, and scalability into product design
* Drive modular manufacturing strategies and promote reuse of standardized processes, equipment, and tooling
* Lead DFx (DfM, DfT, DfA, DfS) activities and translate design requirements into robust manufacturing processes
* Define manufacturing concepts (layout, automation, flow) and manage CapEx projects including supplier selection and commissioning
* Monitor and improve industrial performance KPIs (FPY, OEE, cycle time), driving continuous cost reduction and efficiency gains
Your Background
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or similar)
* At least 2 years of experience in industrialization, NPI, or production engineering
* Proven experience working in cross‑functional and international environments
* Strong knowledge of DFx methodologies and special processes (e.g., coating, potting, automation)
* Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methods (8D, DMAIC)
* Experience managing projects through gated milestones up to SOP and ramp‑up
* Excellent communication skills with fluent professional English and Italian
Additional Information
Experience with MES/ERP systems, digital manufacturing, or data collection architectures is a plus, as well as familiarity with CAD tools and automation technologies (robotics, vision systems, in‑line testing).
