What You'll Do
For our Global Surgical Clinical Affairs division, within the Scientific Communication & Investigator Initiated Studies area, we are looking for a Scientific Communication Specialist.
What You'll Do
1. Prepare and develop high quality scientific content tailored to diverse audiences (e.g. Marketing, Regulatory, Sales, Customer) including presentations, reports, and other scientific writing deliverables.
2. Ensure that all relevant clinical databases are up to date, comprehensive, and user friendly, supporting efficient access to scientific information for internal stakeholders.
3. Turn clinical research into meaningful impact by collaborating closely with Key Opinion Leaders to ensure scientific alignment, exchange expertise, and strengthen the credibility of our medical strategy. Through this role, you will actively shape scientific narrative, foster trusted partnerships with KOLs, and help transform research into real world value for clinicians and patients.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in a scientific department of orthopedic companies is appreciated.
Education And Experience Requirements
4. A university degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy), Engineering, Medical Technology, Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
5. Ideally, 2–3 years of experience in a comparable role.
Technical And Soft Skills
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and effectively.
7. Experience in campaign based communication or related strategic content work.
8. A proactive, collaborative, and customer oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and within cross functional teams.
9. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
10. Solid understanding of clinical challenges and care trends in the field of joint reconstruction.
11. Willingness to travel flexibly, both nationally and internationally.
