Your role As a Clinical Specialist – Structural Heart, you will be the clinical expert for Mitra ClipTM therapy, supporting healthcare professionals before, during, and after procedures. You will play a key role in enabling safe, effective structural heart interventions and improving outcomes for patients. This is a field‐based role, working closely with multidisciplinary hospital teams across Sicily and surrounding regions. What you'll do Provide hands‐on clinical and technical support in cath labs and operating rooms during Mitra Clip procedures Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff Facilitate collaboration between interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and echocardiographers to ensure smooth procedure planning and execution Deliver field‐based training programs for physicians and hospital teams Engage with referring physicians, presenting structural heart technology and relevant clinical evidence Support the achievement of sales, growth, and budget objectives within the territory Act in full compliance with Abbott procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements What you bring Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent scientific discipline Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written) Strong clinical orientation and interest in patient care Excellent communication and presentation skills Relationship‐focused, collaborative approach Results‐driven mindset in a field‐based environment 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in medical devices or a clinical setting Why Abbott Contribute to life‐changing structural heart therapies High level of clinical responsibility and autonomy Continuous training and professional development Inclusive, international, and values‐driven culture Equal Opportunity Abbott is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
