Responsibilities

-

- Support Costa’s accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with USGAAP and IFRS statutory requirements.

- Prepare period‑end and quarter‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages and act as the key point of contact for documentation.

- Perform detailed balance‑sheet reconciliations to maintain internal controls and audit readiness.

- Oversee the effectiveness of financial reporting controls and strengthen processes to guarantee accurate and reliable data.

- Lead or contribute to process‑improvement initiatives across accounting areas.

- Analyze accounting data and financial reports, providing insights to support business decision‑making.

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments, fostering strong working relationships.

Qualifications

-

- At least 2–3 years of experience in external audit, complemented by experience in corporate accounting.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines.

- Strong knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS and Italian GAAP.

- Solid understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and related IT systems.

- Experience in period‑end closing activities and financial reporting preparation.

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Proactive, flexible, and hands‑on mindset, adaptable to changing priorities.

- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and international environments.
