Ph3Overview /h3 pAs GEA Programs Costs Manager you will report directly to the GEA Programs Program Director. You will be responsible for managing and controlling the financial aspects of both NPI (New Product Introduction) and Legacy Programs to ensure they stay within budget and meet financial objectives. /p pThis role will require a close collaboration with Program Managers and with key Avio Aero functions to ensure cost program goals are effectively flow down and acknowledged by functions. Additionally, you will engage with external customers, regularly facilitating the exchange of data related to product cost evolution and ongoing cost-optimization initiatives. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssist in the development, maintenance, and adjustment of program budgets as required /li liContinuously monitor program costs, ensuring expenditures align with the approved budget /li liManage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) using Avio Aero tools and systems /li liSupport Program Managers in identifying and analyzing cost variances, providing insights into budget deviations, contributing to define corrective actions and the monthly “estimation to complete” for work packages /li liRegularly monitor and report product costs to the Program Director and actively support the preparation of standard work material /li liCollaborate with Program Managers and cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Sourcing) to achieve cost-out goals and meet product cost targets, acting as the focal point for regular operative rhythms execution /li liOverview and maintain product cost reduction projects in company digital tools used to monitor product cost evolution /li liSupport Programs/Gate Reviews, meetings with customers and program stakeholders /li liIdentify financial risks/opportunities and support in the strategies execution to manage them /li liMaintain an active role in working with the plant community to identify and execute on time cost reduction projects in line with customer expectations and program goals /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Management Engineering or Economics /li liExperience in Program Management/Program-Project-Cost Management; aviation sector preferred /li liKnowledge of Finance, Financial Processes, Program and Product Costs /li liStrong interpersonal leadership and ability to work in a cross-functional team /li liProblem solving mindset /li liAble to develop networks among peers and stakeholders /li liAble to prevent and identify programs critical issues /li liTake in charge, self-government and self-determination /li liAbility to document, plan, and execute established projects, and management skills /li liStrong oral and written English/Italian communication /li liItalian citizenship /li liWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liKnowledge of aeronautical products from engineering, manufacturing technology, supply chain perspective preferred /li liProactive and positive approach /li liPrompt communication and sense of urgency /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pSmart working and work life-balance.
