Objectives of this role - Analyze customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships to optimize product. - Evaluate competitor products and identify opportunities for differentiation through innovation or enhanced product performance. - Analyze ingredient and formulation requirements, developing strategies and programs to meet regulatory and customer specifications. - Assess new product ideas and design strategic go-to-market plans to ensure successful launches and market penetration. - Coordinate the product development process, particularly in plant protection and product formulation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities - Lead the execution of all product development processes, including research, planning, and collaboration with R&D, technical agronomy, and regulatory teams. - Supervise the product lifecycle management, ensuring timely transitions from concept to launch, and addressing post-launch improvements or adjustments. - Create and maintain detailed product development timelines and go-to-market strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones. - Analyze market trends and competitor products to propose differentiating strategies and innovative solutions. - Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure all products are compliant with relevant regulations and certifications in all target markets. Required skills and qualifications - Proven experience in project management, preferably in the agriculture, agrochemical, or plant protection industries. - Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver projects within scope, time, and budget. - Experience in managing the full product lifecycle from development to post-launch. - Technical expertise in plant protection products and formulation processes. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with internal teams and external partners. Preferred skills and qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in agricultural engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field. - Previous experience in R&D or product management within the agricultural or agrochemical sector. - Knowledge of regulatory compliance for plant protection products. - Demonstrated success in bringing new agricultural products to market.
