THE POSITION: In this position you will join the Production Excellence and Technology Transfer (PETT) team in our manufacturing site located in Fornovo San Giovanni. In close collaboration with production, automation, engineering and site management you will be the contact person for the area of data science and digitalization, and you will be the project leader for the implementation of strategic digitalization projects of Bidachem in close connection with all other related local and international functions. In this position You will work in an extremely fast-moving cross-functional environment, and you will be a contributor to adapt business processes to new digital capabilities. Tasks & responsibilities: - Drive forward the digital transformation and cooperate in the definition of digitalization strategy. - Build and maintain a digital network and drive change processes to use digital solutions as contact person for the digital community and digital workplace. - Collaborate in the definition of digital products in order to strengthen data-based decision-making and of statistical analysis and prediction models in order to perform trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, process optimization activities and environmental monitoring. - Be the Project Manager of digitalization and automation projects and coordinate the review/update of the capability assessment with the local and global functions. - Be Referent in the PETT team as key-user for GBS-SAP, MES and all relevant electronic systems and digital tools. - Coordinate data integrity activities within Technology Area Requirements: - Master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, IT. - Minimum 5 years of experience in Project management and leadership of (cross-functional) teams coupled decision-making. - Preferable experience in the chemical/pharmaceutical GMP environment and with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) - Entrepreneurship, flexibility, multidisciplinary thinking / Enthusiasm and openness to change. - Digital mindset: assess projects/systems/digital technologies applicability including economic benefits. - Customer-oriented, Solution-oriented, analytical and structured coupled with creativity. - Excellent communication and intercultural skills, ability to network across organizational boundaries. - Very good spoken and written English.
