Senior Cloud Engineer – OpenStack
with proven experience in designing & implementing complex cloud infrastructures based on OpenStack & in managing automation through Terraform & Ansible Kolla. The role involves working within structured project environments, covering all operational phases: detailed design, implementation, standardization, documentation & handover/testing with operational teams. Field: provider of complex proprietary cloud platforms
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed designs for cloud solutions aligned with engineering architecture guidelines
* Implement cloud infrastructures based on OpenStack & develop automation using Ansible Kolla & Terraform
* Standardize configurations, procedures & operational processes
* Prepare technical documentation, including operational guides, technical diagrams & standards
* Conduct testing & handover activities to operational teams
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud platforms
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
* Background as a Systems Engineer, with strong expertise in Linux systems & distributed infrastructures
* In-depth knowledge of OpenStack
* Advanced experience with Terraform & Kolla
* Experience with private cloud or proprietary CSP environments
* Advanced troubleshooting skills
