Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the Amazon Music Finance team, supporting Creator Services. This position will play a key role in driving Creator Services strategy across marketing, production, and operations.
Own, refine, and develop key areas of Creator Services's content valuation model
Collaborate with and present to the senior leadership team on a regular basis
Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
develop action plans; 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‐engineering, quality assurance) experience
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Experience working with large‐scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
