Job description 1. Job purpose To support the store manager in meeting or exceeding store sales targets. To work with the store manager to achieve brand standards in customer service, selling, product presentation, and merchandising. 2. Result fields Result field 1: Support the store manager in meeting or exceeding store sales targets. Assist in maximizing sales and profitability through effective store operations management. Control store during the manager's absence, showing commercial awareness and implementing sales initiatives. Analyze reports and KPIs like conversion rate, units per transaction, and average transaction value to improve store performance. Result field 2: Achieve brand standards in customer service and selling. Support and guide staff to deliver customer service and sales standards. Result field 3: Achieve brand standards in product presentation and merchandising. Support staff in visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional activities. Ensure consistent product flow and manage back-of-house operations. Participate in store cleaning duties as required. Result field 4: Assist in recruitment, training, retention, and development of team members. Supervise staff under the store manager’s guidance, ensuring motivation and ongoing training. Maintain staffing levels according to schedules and rotas. 4. Authority According to limits of authority. 5. Communication Internal: Contact with employees from the retail department and relevant subsidiaries. External: Contact with suppliers. 6. Job requirements Knowledge and experience At least two years of retail management experience, including coaching, counseling, and development. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, and people management. Extensive experience in delivering top-level customer service in a brand retail environment. Personal qualities / skills Excellent communication, delegation, teamwork, flexibility, proactiveness, stress resistance, and analytical skills. Effective communication with customers and staff, maneuvering around sales floor, stockroom, and office; ability to lift 30 lbs / 13.61 kg. Open availability to work nights, weekends, and store hours as needed. Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes. Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
