The ideal candidate, under the guidance and direction of the IT Manager, will contribute to the management, monitoring, and optimisation of our hybrid IT environment, supporting high availability, performance, and security across cloud and on-premises systems.
This role requires technical expertise, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering reliable services to the organization.Role AccountabilitiesCloud AdministrationMaintain cloud resources (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).Support the implementation and monitoring of cloud security, identity, backup, and disaster recovery policies.System & Infrastructure ManagementAssist in administering Windows and/or Linux servers, both on-premises and in the cloud.Assist in managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.Monitor system performance and handle patching, updates, and troubleshooting.Maintain virtualization environments.Security & ComplianceAdopt and enforce security best practices across systems and cloud environments.Networking & ConnectivitySupport network operations: VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching.Automation & MonitoringContribute to developing and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.Assist in configuring and managing monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).Endpoint ManagementAssist in managing and maintaining corporate endpoints (laptops, smartphones, tablets) including MDM solutions, OS imaging, and device lifecycle.Support & CollaborationProvide 1st/2nd level support on infrastructure-related incidents.Support endpoint deployment, configuration, and onboarding procedures (laptops, smartphones, tablets).General Employee AccountabilitiesBring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager.Ability to work under pressure to tight timelines.Effective time management skills and ability to multi-taskCooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager.Exemplify Company Core Values: Teamwork and Accountability, Client Focus, Progress, IntegrityComply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws.Recommend viable improvements proactively.Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes.Minimum QualificationsGood knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.Basic familiarity with endpoint management concepts (device deployment, mobile device management).Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.Preferred QualificationsProven experience of at least 1 year as a System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role.Scripting and automation proficiency (e.g.
