As part of Finance Team, the Controller will report to the CFO and will actively contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis across the organization.
This is a fully hands‐on, get‐things‐done role: the Controller will own real deliverables from day one, with direct responsibility for the preparation, analysis, and control of financial and management data.
We are looking for someone eager to roll up their sleeves and build things from scratch — not just maintain existing processes. The role is focused on direct execution, working hands‐on on:
budgeting and forecasting models
monthly management reporting
project and cost‐center profitability analysis
cash flow forecasting and financial data validation
Support budgeting and forecasting activities of international and EU entities
The Controller works closely with the CFO, collaborating with business stakeholders in a project‐based and international environment, with a strong focus on data accuracy and operational control. This is a great opportunity to grow and leave a real mark on the FP&A setup of a fast‐moving tech company.
As the company grows, there will be opportunities to take on more ownership and eventually lead FP&A projects end‐to‐end.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperational Management Control
Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts, directly building and maintaining planning and control models.
Produce quarterly management reporting, personally managing data extraction, reconciliations, financial consistency checks, and timely delivery.
Perform variance analysis vs budget and forecast, identifying operational drivers and financial impacts.
Maintain and update management control files and models (Excel / ERP / BI).
Profitability & Financial Analysis
Analyze costs, revenues, and margins by projects/jobs, cost centers, business or product lines.
Provide concrete, numbers‐driven analysis to support the CFO and management on project profitability, break‐even analysis, pricing scenarios, and investment evaluations.
Monitor key financial KPIs, including EBITDA, Cash Flow, Net Financial Position (NFP), Working Capital, and ROI.
Cash Flow – Big Deals
Support the CFO with up‐to‐date and reliable liquidity analysis on big deals.
International Scope (Operational)
Collect, verify, and consolidate financial data from foreign subsidiaries and European entities.
Work operationally with local finance contacts to align reporting data, resolve inconsistencies, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support the financial monitoring of international and European entities.
Tools & Processes
Work directly with advanced Excel models, ERP systems, reporting / BI tools.
Improve planning, reporting, and control processes with a pragmatic, execution‐focused approach.
Ensure data reliability, traceability, and quality.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, or related fields.
2–4 years of hands‐on experience in management control, FP&A, or operational finance roles.
Experience or strong interest in project‐based, industrial, or technology environments.
Advanced Excel skills (complex models, analysis, and control).
Good knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of management accounting and financial KPIs.
Builder's mindset: comfortable starting from a blank sheet, not afraid to build FP&A processes and models from scratch.
Ability to work autonomously and interact with non‐finance stakeholders.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
International experience.
Available to travel.
