As a Data Center Engineering Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining mission-critical technology infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and high uptime. /ppEngineering Technicians are Amazon’s front line for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. They maintain, operate, and troubleshoot data center facilities, including stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, three-phase electrical systems (switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, wet cell batteries), CRAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers/water systems, air handlers and related systems, pumps and motors. /ppAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that enable continual access to AWS services. /ppYou will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. They will maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facility equipment including stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, three-phase electrical systems (switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and wet cell batteries) and associated systems. Mechanical equipment includes CRAHU units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, water systems, air handlers and associated systems, pumps, and motors.
