About the Role
The Project Engineer Manifacturing is responsible for all tasks and activities related to the assigned equipment projects to ensure that all cross-departmental phases are carried out in a timely manner, in an appropriate and cost-effective way.
Responsabilities
- Ensure that, for the assigned projects, all cross-departmental phases are carried out in a timely manner, in an appropriate and cost-effective way
- Responsible for planning and overseeing equipment produced in US by LINK Engineering
- Define and oversee the planning for equipment produced in Italy
- Prepare and maintain a GANTT to plan and monitor all the activities related to the assigned projects
- Keep strong relationship with suppliers and monitor the manufacture and respect of delivery of components
- Purchasing of project parts, components, devices and sub-systems (ECUs, measurement devices, etc.)
- Strong coordination with all the other functions within the company (Engineering, Purchasing, etc.)
- Act as interface with customers to manage technical request (civil works, layout, facility requirements)
- Monitoring delivery of parts
- Monitoring respect of delivery according to the contract
- Interface for assigned projects to answer specific questions and organize all related activities like FAT, shipment, commissioning etc.
- Manage suppliers for packing, delivery, support on installation like handling etc.
- Manage customers' requests for warranty and spare parts
- Track quality issue over the entire project scope
- Enhance customer service quality and satisfaction
Skills
- Engineer (Dipl.-Ing.), Master or Bachelor of Science or equivalent education.
- +4 year' experience in Project Management
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
- Ability to prepare reports and use appropriate modes of communication, proficient at analyzing data, creating reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge in mechanics and electronics
- Deep knowledge of industries' standards, testing methodologies, tools, and equipment
- Advanced computer skills, in particular MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
- Good knowledge English language, written and spoken.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines on the multiple assigned projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
