The Role M&A BROKER (M&A, Transactional Risks, FINEX Global) The M&A team at WTW is a globally integrated team of sector professionals with extensive international experience in all areas of M&A. We have an in-depth, detailed understanding of complex transactions, aligning with clients' interests to tailor the transactional risks insurance policy to each deal. Our rapidly growing M&A unit is looking for a young Associate based in Milan to support the M&A team in Italy and the international M&A capability, ensuring the delivery of revenue targets in a compliant and ethical manner. Responsibilities
Advising clients on M&A insurance products in the context of transaction processes and finding the best insurance solutions in the market. Support to the Transactional Risk Team during the M&A process; preparation of pitch, RFP, and marketing flyers. Review of M&A deals (including SPAs, R&Ws, investment agreements and due diligence reports), assess the main issues from an insurance perspective, determine insurability of risk, and work closely with the deal team to provide timely support. Structure warranty and indemnity insurance and other transactional risk insurance solutions; lead negotiations with insurers for insured risks. Build and maintain relationships with M&A players, including insurers, both in Italy and internationally. Qualifications
The Requirements Italian legal degree (“Laurea in Giurisprudenza”) English Level C1 Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in corporate law and advising on mergers and acquisitions deals; Previous experience in corporate law or M&A space is beneficial; Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential; Strong and fluent knowledge of English language is crucial; Analytical, creative and curious with the ability to work independently and with teams; ability to organize, analyse and interpret structured and unstructured data for decision-making.
