This role sits at the intersection of Operations, Technology, and Trading, focused on improving the scalability, efficiency, and control environment of our investment operations platform. /p pThis position is initially offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months which can be worked remotely within Switzerland or Italy. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pThis is a hybrid Operations and Technology role for someone who enjoys understanding how trading operations work and then building solutions to make them better. /p pYou will partner closely with Operations, Trading, and Technology teams to automate manual workflows, improve operational controls, build internal tooling, support strategic projects, and help scale Swissblock's operational infrastructure across multiple asset classes. /p h3What You'll Be Doing /h3 h3Operations Automation Engineering /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain automation solutions that reduce manual operational workload. /li liBuild internal tools, scripts, dashboards, and workflows supporting investment operations. /li liAutomate processes across: Trade capture and enrichment, position and cash reconciliations, settlement monitoring, exception management, margin and collateral workflows, reporting and operational controls, regulatory and investor reporting processes. /li liPartner with Technology teams to integrate systems, APIs, broker platforms, custodians, and internal applications. /li liDevelop monitoring and alerting capabilities for critical operational processes. /li liImprove data quality, transparency, and operational scalability. /li /ul h3Trading Operations Middle Office Support /h3 ul liSupport daily operational workflows across trade capture, reconciliation, settlements, reporting, and exception management. /li liProvide backup support for BAU Operations activities, including trade lifecycle monitoring, cash and position reconciliations, settlement follow-up, and operational controls. /li liEnsure continuity of critical operational processes during project implementations, peak workload periods, and team absences. /li liInvestigate operational breaks, reconciliation discrepancies, settlement issues, and data quality exceptions. /li /ul h3What You'll Bring /h3 ul liExperience within Trading Operations, Investment Operations, Middle Office, Fund Operations, Trade Support, or a similar financial services environment. /li liStrong programming or scripting skills in Python and SQL. /li liExperience automating business processes and operational workflows. /li liGood understanding of trade lifecycle events and post-trade processing. /li liExperience working with reconciliations, settlements, cash movements, operational controls, and exception management. /li liAbility to analyse operational problems and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. /li liUnderstanding of asset classes such as equities, futures, OTC derivatives, FX etc. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
