Responsibilities:
* Accomplishment of the assigned tasks, ensuring all requirements related to the projects and tasks are realized on schedule and on budget.
* Ensure sound engineering practices, national/international rules, and customer’s technical specification compliance.
* Design optimizing costs, time, quality, and operability.
* Focus on safety during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and operation.
* Attention to details and their feasibility.
* Liaise with Proposal, Sales, Operation, and Services to analyze problems and generate corrective actions to improve product performance.
* Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
* Design, implement, and improve electrical equipment, components, products, and industrial systems.
* Support manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
* Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
* Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
* Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
* Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
* Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
* Plan layout of electric power transformation, distribution lines, and stations.
* Assist in developing research and programs for new equipment and major repairs.
* Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
* Design the electrical schemes.
* Support Line Manager in establishing work instructions and technical manuals, in compliance with provided guidelines.
* Support Line Manager in providing engineering support for plant activities.
