Your responsibilities and tasks:
* Be responsible for formulating goals, objectives, exclusions, time plan & budget for the projects together with all relevant departments in line with our strategic growth areas.
* Take technical lead and manage the cross-functional project team through the innovation process from front end to go-to-market activities.
* Coordinate activities with internal and external resources and regularly update the main stakeholders on project progress.
* Ensure that the projects adhere to the development process such that deliverables and milestones are met.
* Contribute to idea generation initiatives as well as to technical and commercial analyses of new R&D project proposals.
Your profile and qualifications:
* University degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical/mechatronic/automation).
* Relevant industry experience (more than 5 years) working in a matrix organization ideally leading technology/product development.
* Working knowledge of 3D CAD and PDM (Inventor and Vault) and main project management tool.
* Previous experience within food processing is an advantage.
* Fluent in Italian and very good knowledge of English.
