Position Summary
The role involves supporting the Logistics Masterplan and Full Potential Projects, with a focus on optimizing distribution costs. It includes coordinating factory logistics activities—such as KPI monitoring, project management, and budget oversight. Additionally, the position aims to improve rental pallet costs by implementing new initiatives and it is responsible for managing the logistics sustainability roadmap.
A Day in the Life as a Distribution Logistic Engineer
* Perform analysis and simulations to support Logistic Masterplan and Full Potential Projects working with Project Team and Financial Controller to build E2E Financial Justifications
* Work with Distribution Team in order to find opportunities and initiatives for optimizing Total Distribution Cost
* Ensure coordination between Factory Supply Chain Mangers and in general Logistic Community managing KPIs, projects (eg digitalization, automation), costs
* Mantain relationship with main suppliers for rental pallets in order to find optimization projects
* Lead the Roadmap for Sustainability in Logistics aligned with Transportation Hub, Sustainability Team and Finance
What Will Make You Successful
* Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant and successful operational experience in areas such as Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics & Distribution, Warehousing & Transportation, Finance, and Procurement
* Strong passion for data analysis and working with numbers, with excellent proficiency in Excel and solid knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite
* Proactive mindset, with curiosity and the courage to take initiative
* Strong ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships
* Confident in managing discussions involving multiple stakeholders
* Fluent in both Italian and English
