A growing European aerospace engineering company is hiring an Integration & Test Manager to lead assembly, integration and verification activities for advanced electro-mechanical systems used in space applications.
The organisation designs and builds complex hardware platforms in-house, covering engineering, manufacturing, integration and test. This role sits within operations and leads the team responsible for bringing systems from build through to final verification.
The Role
You will manage day-to-day AIT operations and ensure programmes are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate assembly, integration and test activities
* Manage resources, schedules and daily operations within the AIT team
* Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technical team
* Track operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with quality systems and safety standards
* Work with engineering, quality and programme teams to resolve technical issues
* Maintain documentation and traceability across testing and integration work
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering or similar technical field
* 5+ years' experience in assembly, integration or testing in a high-tech manufacturing environment
* Leadership or team management experience
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Hands-on, problem-solving approach
* Fluent English

* Experience using ERP or MES systems
* Understanding of Lean manufacturing
* Familiarity with engineering standards used in regulated industries
