Retail Expert (Fixed-Term Contract) - IGLESIAS At Philip Morris International (PMI), we are transforming our business and building our future on combustion‑free products. Spread best practices at store level among all territories, deploy guidelines at local level ensuring the best consumer experience in the trade cluster, provide actionable information for business decisions, support the Sales Force with presentations on main sales patterns, brand performance, and market dynamics, and maintain and/or develop current applications for prompt sales analyses and quick data mining.
Responsibilities
CLUSTER MANAGEMENT: all points of sale appointed in selling combustion‑free products. Full accountability for cluster management including objectives and KPIs.
TRADE ACTIVATIONS: develop and deploy projects of trade activations (i.e., trade and third‑parties training, activities and results monitoring) to ensure proper coverage & service level; develop best practices in trade management (i.e., trade engagement and education).
TERRITORY MANAGEMENT & COMMERCIAL PLANNING: carry out territory management through interactions with assigned Points of sale, develop deep knowledge and understanding of the assigned area to identify potential business opportunities in compliance with policies and procedures, establish appropriate connections with retailers and/or any other potential business partners, analyse relevant data related to the assigned retail segment to develop plans and activities in accordance with Commercial Planning guidelines.
VISIBILITY AND RETAIL LOOK: ensure excellence in deployment and execution, using permanent and temporary materials, visual merchandising, commercial campaigns, product and accessory availability and stock presence, and new launches.
BUDGET ADMINISTRATION: manage any assigned yearly budget as agreed with Supervisor and in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Graduation in Economics or related fields.
2–3 years of experience in commercial roles.
Analytical approach.
Strong communication skills & flexibility to understand different perspectives.
Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English.
Autonomy in planning, negotiating and budget allocation.
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A valid driving licence (owned for at least 12 months) and a valid working permit for the EU.
We offer a Temporary contract. National mobility is a required condition for the role.
