** to join us for an internship with the aim of developing their degree thesis on the topic of
**Artificial Intelligence
**, specifically delving into the following thesis topics:
* **Fusion3D: Synthetic Data and AI for 3D Reconstruction:
** Generating large-scale datasets for pretraining Artificial Intelligence models is a complex and costly undertaking, especially for aerial imaging in outdoor environments.
This thesis explores how synthetic data can revolutionize aerial 3D reconstruction, ensuring precision and scalability.
The thesis will focus on the evaluation of Artificial Intelligence networks for 3D reconstruction, and/or on the simulation of RGB images, thermal data, depth maps and point clouds.
* **Image-Radar-Lidar multimodal Representation Learning and Alignment:
** The objective of this thesis is to explore the alignment of embeddings derived from images, radar and lidar sensors, improving performance in advanced tasks such as multimodal information retrieval and classification.
Methodologies based on heuristics and more advanced learning models will be explored.
* **Cross Sensor Adaptation for Remote Sensing Foundation Models
**The choice will be made based on the candidate's area of experience and interest.
**Education
**Current Master's degree in STEM disciplines, with an interest in the world of Artificial Intelligence.
**Behavioral Skills
*** Ability to work in a team;
* Curiosity and passion;
* Learning orientation.
**Language Skills
**Advanced knowledge of the English language, B2-C1 level.
**Computer Skills
**Basic computer knowledge of Linux, Python, bash and PyTorch.
Familiarity with 3D reconstruction or simulation environments like Unreal Engine is a plus.

**Availability to carry out the activity in Genoa and/or to travel to Genoa and throughout the national territory to collaborate with the work group.
