About the job
This role reports into Operations Industrial Engineering and is responsible for designing a digitalized road-map, the digital manufacturing eco-system, interfacing with ERP systems and manufacturing equipment, integrating a seamless, traceable, and paperless manufacturing process with embedded AI where applicable. The role includes specifying and detailing the digitalized eco-system, leading detailed design and implementation with suppliers, and ensuring smooth hand-over to operations, along with continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.
* Leading the Digital Road-Map development
* Analyzing and specifying the manufacturing digitalized eco-system, including interfaces and collaboration with suppliers (MES/APS, shop-edge/data lake, AI, interfaces, track & trace, digital labor management)
* Defining project execution plan, deliverables, timelines, and budgets
* Detailing architecture and system specifications
* Searching for and evaluating suppliers to obtain firm offers
* Conducting joint detailed engineering with suppliers in line with specifications, performance, and costs
* Supporting installation and commissioning of systems until hand-over to operations
* Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
* Continuously seeking manufacturing improvements through digitalization
* Participating in a cross-functional, international project team
* Adhering to corporate social responsibility principles
