Project Manager (AI & Digital Engineering)
Aieng is a fast-growing engineering startup helping industrial companies turn AI and digital tools into concrete product development advantages. We work on complex, high-stakes projects where technical depth and strategic thinking go hand in hand.
The ideal candidate is a Technical Leader capable of bridging the gap between complex software development and industrial engineering.
Your Role
As Project Manager, you will:
Lead end-to-end digital projects: From strategic analysis and requirement collection to the implementation, development, and testing of AI and PLM solutions.
Drive AI Implementation: Support the integration of AIeng solutions within client workflows, focusing on accelerating product development and optimizing processes.
Act as a Strategic Advisor: Guide clients toward off-the-shelf solutions where appropriate, balancing customization with scalability and best practices.
Foster Innovation: Act as a catalyst for change, promoting the adoption of AI and digital tools within the client's organization (Cross-fertilization).
Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Bridge the communication between Software Developers, AI Specialists, and Industrial Engineers.
Contribute Technically: Dive into the codebase when needed — reviewing, prototyping, or developing software components alongside the team, not just overseeing from a distance.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Strategic Leadership
Own the delivery success of complex projects, ensuring that AI and digital solutions meet high-quality standards.
Translate business needs into technical software requirements and scalable engineering solutions.
Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment between IT capabilities and industrial needs.
Client Interface & Consulting
Build trusted relationships at both technical and managerial levels.
Manage expectations by steering the client toward efficient, standard, or AI-driven solutions rather than over-engineered custom fixes.
Lead technical reviews and milestones, managing escalations with a problem-solving mindset.
Project Governance
Drive execution in terms of scope, timing, cost, and risk management.
Provide transparent reporting and visibility to all stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
