Responsibilities: System Design & Engineering:
Design advanced self-consumption and hybrid photovoltaic systems, including projects that integrate battery storage or other forms of hybridization. Ensure solutions are technically sound, efficient, and aligned with LONGi’s product portfolio. Technical & Financial Feasibility Analysis:
Conduct detailed assessments of the technical and economic viability of PV projects, using simulation tools and financial models to support commercial decisions. Software Expertise:
Use and maintain extensive knowledge of PV design and simulation software (PVsyst, PV*Sol) to evaluate energy yield, optimize layouts, and support customer proposals. Pre- and Post-Sales Support:
Provide pre-sales technical support across all markets, working closely with the Sales team on system design, quotation preparation, and client presentations. Deliver premium post-sales support to strategic or aligned partners, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Training & Public Engagement:
Conduct internal and external training sessions to strengthen technical understanding of LONGi products and solutions. Represent LONGi in industry webinars, partner events, and conferences as a speaker or technical presenter. The ideal candidate is confident speaking in front of an audience and able to communicate complex topics clearly.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Experience in PV system design, application engineering, or technical pre-sales. Proven experience conducting technical and financial feasibility studies for photovoltaic projects. Proficiency in PVsyst and PV*Sol; additional software knowledge (AutoCAD, Helioscope, etc.) is an asset. Understanding of hybrid systems and energy storage technologies. Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading trainings and speaking at industry events. Proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset.
