Purpose of the position We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, relationship builder and action oriented Manager to drive the Veterinary Channel through the creation and implementation of marketing and commercial strategies. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s ambition of becoming the reference for veterinarians in cats and dogs’ nutritional solutions. Responsibilities Lead the Veterinary channel in Italy; ideal candidate from healthcare or veterinary sectors with knowledge of market dynamics. Think strategically and execute flawlessly. Core functions: Management and leadership of the Italian Vet Team, 30 people Build collaboration with Commercial team creating a recommendation-conversion engine, building efficiencies and leveraging synergies Build and deploy plans with marketing for perfect execution Establishment of standards and KPIs for business performance tracking Prepare trade promotional plan deployment with the commercial director in designated channel with crucial customers Be main actor in accelerating vet digital recommendations and shaping digital ecosystem Coordinate with distributors to support them with marketing actions in the vet channel Vet budget building and monitoring Implement and participate in improving the company Vet Strategy Active role in European Vet Community shaping the future and contributing to regional functions Qualifications and Skills University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Veterinary Science, Life Sciences or related field English: spoken and written required Minimum 3 years experience managing a team and leading business Travel time: 70% in the field Business acumen Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate complex challenges Strategic thinking and problem solving Action oriented and detail oriented Relationship building Additional The economic offer and benefits will be based on the candidate's actual experience.
