Job Description

The person is part of the Sales Department, will play a key role in managing the sales process for customers in Italy and Europe, contributing to business development and ensuring a high level of service. The role involves constant interaction with customers and internal company departments to ensure proper order fulfillment and ongoing customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

* Quote and Order Management:
o Entering and managing quotes and orders for standard catalog materials.
o Monitoring of quotes entered.
o Processing of orders.
o Managing and closing unfulfilled stock/order backlog.
o Entering and managing quotes and special custom orders.
o Monitoring of quotes.
o Processing of orders.
o Checking order confirmations and deliveries.
o Monitoring of stock and any critical issues.
* Logistics and Shipment Control:
o Monitoring the entire shipment flow, from dispatch to delivery to the end customer.
* Quality and Non-Conformity Management:
o Reporting and managing supply non-conformities, with follow-up activities until open cases are closed.
* Relations with Group Branches:
o Relationships with the Group's foreign branches for order collection and management.
* Customer Relations:
o Managing contact with foreign customers via email and telephone.
o Monitoring customer satisfaction levels.
* Gathering market and competitor information.
* Sales support activities, including analyzing and monitoring sales reports.
* Support for the external sales network.


Interfacing with

* Purchasing Department
* Technical Department
* Administration
* Inbound and Outbound Logistics
* Testing Department
* Global Chain & Components Team
* Modular Product Marketing Manager for Italy and Internationally


Experience

* At least 3 years of experience in sales or customer service roles in the metalworking industry.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience managing custom products.
* Experience from companies that market products of Asian origin.
* Knowledge of technical drawing.

* Accuracy and attention to data quality.
* Analytical ability.
* Organizational awareness.
* Customer focus.
* Timeliness and sense of responsibility.


IT Skills

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Advanced use of email and main digital tools.
* Experience with Microsoft NAVISION/Dynamics ERP is preferred.


Language Skills

* Excellent knowledge of English (essential).
* A second language is preferred, preferably Spanish or French.
