Job Summary:
The HSE Intern is responsible for supporting local management in establishing and continuously improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture within the worksite.
The Position holder is responsible for the analytics of the HSE indicators, functions as a coordinator for for the key HSE data and processes. Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support managers in applying HSE policies and standards.
- Help implement and monitor the HSE Management System.
- Coordinate with contractors/agencies and assess local risks.
- Develop local HSE procedures, checklists, and plans.
- Ensure compliance through audits and corrective actions.
- Track HSE reports, lead meetings, and support incident investigations.
- Assist with HSE safety inspections /workshop visits
- Assist with HSE safety induction presentation
- Assist in maintaining safety/environmental records, documentation, and databases
Qualifications:
- Currently has or is in the process of obtaining the relevant university degree in Environmental Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Prevention techniques in the environment and workplaces.
- Experience is not mandatory.
- Fluent in English
- MS Office computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT ).
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- You are keen to learn, motivated to take on new challenges and have a good analytical skill.
