Position
The electrical designer is part of the Electrical Technical Office (UTE) team. They develop and customize electrical and electronic systems for functional groups and automatic machines from scratch. They personally execute the project, collaborating and coordinating with both mechanical designers and automation software designers. They contribute to developing sales orders and, based on the company's technical directives and project specifications, ensure that the electrical design of the machinery complies with standards and customer requirements.
Essential Functions:
1. Complete electrical and electronic design of functional groups and automatic machines using the tools available in the company.
2. Suggest technical solutions: able to collaborate with other designers (mechanical and software) to agree on shared solutions to meet the final customer's requests and requirements.
3. Perform verification and sizing calculations for electrical and electronic components and select the appropriate components for the electrical system.
4. Produce electrical project documentation for the fabrication of the electrical panel, machine wiring, and testing of the electrical systems of automatic machines.
5. When necessary, provide support to the after-sales function on the projects developed.
The position includes a training period, followed by a period of shadowing with a Senior Technician.
Requirements
6. Industrial technical expert in electronics/electrotechnics
7. Control systems (basic knowledge of possible architectures for managing PLC machine automation)
