Job Description
As a Graduate Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking team that’s helping to deliver sustainable energy solutions across the globe. As a valued member of our Genoa‑based team, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of cutting‑edge Power Plant projects. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands‑on experience and developing your technical and leadership skills.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Supporting the design and execution of instrumentation and control systems for power generation projects (thermal, nuclear, renewables, EfW).
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Mott MacDonald, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
* Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for various project stages—from feasibility to construction.
* Engaging with clients and contributing to business development in emerging technologies and markets.
* Participating in short‑term international assignments, expanding your global perspective.
Candidate Specification
To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a master’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:
* Masters in Electrical Engineering
* Masters in Automation
