TXT E-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for an Avionic Software Engineer to join its team.
The selected candidate will be involved in the development and verification of both Application Software and Target-Specific Software in support of the Store Management Controller, for a major client in the Aerospace sector and for activities in the military domain.
A full-time on-site presence at the client’s in Caselle is required for this project.
Main responsibilities:
Requirements definition;
Design activities;
Coding activities;
Debugging;
Definition of test cases and related procedures;
Bench Support activities;
Structural Coverage Analysis;
Verification & Validation (V&V) in accordance with DO-178C and EFA standards.
Required technical knowledge:
Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (C, C++, Ada, Java);
Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python);
Familiarity with version control tools (SVN, Git);
Experience with requirements analysis and related tools (DOORS);
Knowledge of model-based design and code generation tools (Simulink, SCADE);
Basic understanding of real-time operating systems (VxWorks653, PikeOS, Green Hills Integrity);
Understanding of embedded real-time systems;
Basic knowledge of avionics communication protocols (ARINC 429, CanAero, MIL-STD 1553);
Basic knowledge of general-purpose communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, UARTs);
Familiarity with software engineering processes and standards (DO-178B/C);
Good knowledge of the English language.
Optional technical knowledge:
Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Access);
Scripting languages for database interfacing/automation (JavaScript, VBA).
Required education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Strong teamworking abilities and excellent problem-solving skills are essential to complete the profile.
