PpJob ID: | Amazon Web Services, Inc. /p pThe Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) at AWS. In this role, you’ll manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You’ll leverage your IT and/or management consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams. /p pAs a DPM you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers who work with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions. You will routinely engage with directors, C‑level executives, and governing boards, be responsible for opportunity capture and drive engagement delivery, work closely with partner teams, and drive business development initiatives through thought leadership. Your success is measured by consistently delivering customer engagements by supporting sales through scoping technical requirements, delivering engagements on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations, while holding the practice total utilization goal and optimizing team performance. /p pYour experience leading teams within the technology sector will equip you with the ability to optimize team performance by implementing tailored people development plans, ensuring alignment with customer needs, and building the skills and capacity to address customer outcomes. You will translate technical concepts into business value for customers, communicate with teams in technical depth, and cultivate strong relationships with customers, Amazon Global Sales (AGS), and ProServe teams. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 pAs an experienced Professional Services Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for: /p ul liBuilding and managing a high‑performing team of Delivery Consultants. /li liCollaborating with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features. /li liDeveloping and overseeing the implementation of innovative, forward‑looking IT strategies for customers. /li liManaging practice PL and ensuring on‑time, within‑budget delivery of customer engagements. /li liDriving business development initiatives and exceeding customer satisfaction targets. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li8+ years of experience in IT and/or management consulting, with at least 3 years in a people‑leadership role. /li liExperience managing IT transformation projects. /li liBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience. /li li5+ years of progressive experience within a security consulting team or a similar operating environment. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liAdvanced technology degree or AWS Professional‑level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional). /li liStrong project management and resource management capabilities. /li liFinancial acumen with PL management experience. /li liAbility to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and drive change. /li liSales and negotiation skills for opportunity capture and proposal development. /li liExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain C‑level client relationships. /li li2+ years in one or more of the following areas: application security, application development, incident response, cloud security and governance, penetration testing. /li /ul pLos Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. The base pay for this position ranges from $152,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,800/year in our highest geographic market.
