We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join us as Operations Managers. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly employees, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance are maintained at high levels. You will provide your team with the necessary tools for success and drive improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. You will also play a key role in meeting customer expectations by ensuring timely delivery of orders. /ppOur Operations workflow comprises three major components: bFirst mile /b (product housed and ready for order), bMiddle mile /b (product transported to your area), and bLast mile /b (product delivered to the customer). While workflows may vary slightly by building, our vision remains focused on customer satisfaction. /ppWe open new Operations sites annually, offering various opportunities for professional growth. We hire Operations Managers based on location preferences and current openings. /ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /pulliSupport, mentor, and motivate your team of salaried and hourly employees /liliLead large-scale projects with site and regional impact /liliDevelop and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and workload balancing /liliManage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments /liliCollaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to meet business objectives /liliLift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach /liliStand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts /liliWork in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures, including outdoor loading areas /liliClimb and descend stairs as required /li /ulpbBasic Qualifications: /b /pulli3+ years of employee and performance management experience /liliBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge / FTE) experience /liliFlexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays /li /ulpbPreferred Qualifications: /b /pulli1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
