Responsibilities
Carry out production analysis during the shift, applying the deliveries received by the Quality Control Manager in terms of safety, environment, quality and quantity.
Conduct the production lines according to the established methods and procedures, in full operational autonomy.
Cooperate in compliance with safety and environmental protection standards.
Control machine operating parameters by providing tuning and adjustment.
Check the product status during processing and confirm its identity.
Complete route plans and report the results obtained during process checks in accordance with instructions.
Apply the policies defined by the Company within the Hygiene, Quality, Safety and Environment regulations issued by management.
Carry out assigned security operations set out in the emergency plan.
Improve customer satisfaction within the quality management system.
Apply company procedures related to quality, undertake the Quality Policy of management and implement the quality improvement plan.
Signal events and propose improvements.
Ensure safety, health, environmental protection, product stewardship and transport safety (HSEPT) and follow all HSEPT procedures.
Commit to the HSEPT policy of the Management and implement the HSEPT progress plan.
Know and apply the HSEPT Site Manual and related procedures.
Ensure compliance with the roles and responsibilities described in the HSEPT Roles and Responsibilities table.
Comply with Solvay Group rules, applicable regulations with support from HR, HSE, and other services.
Adopt a prevention and continuous improvement attitude.
Maintain order and cleanliness of facilities or office.
Use standard and special PPE correctly and ensure processes and equipment comply with safety specifications.
Participate in emergency plans and hold the responsibilities defined in procedures.
Assist in analysis (root cause, preventive/corrective actions) of HSEPT incidents.
Requirements
High School Diploma in Chemistry.
At least one year of laboratory experience.
Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation (PH meter, Karl Fisher, automatic titrators, water analysis kits, HPLC/GC).
Willingness to work shifts in a continuous cycle (CICLO CONTINUO).
Analytical and organizational skills.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
