We look for individuals with strong problem solving and analytical skills, innovative thinking and intellectual curiosity who want to make an impact on the success of the firm’s most valuable asset, our people. strongEXECUTIVE COMPENSATION /strongpThe Executive Compensation team is responsible for a wide and varied remit which includes regulatory reporting, remuneration disclosures, remuneration governance, and responding to the European remuneration regulations. The team also manages other key activities such as assisting with the public disclosure of Directors Emoluments, dealing with senior employee compensation matters and handling employee equity queries, in addition to a variety of firmwide projects and initiatives. /pstrongRESPONSIBILITIES /strongpThe successful individual will be involved in the following activities: /pulliPreparation / review of regulatory submissions /liliDetermination of Material Risk Taker population /liliPreparation / review of public remuneration disclosures /liliDrafting responses to regulatory queries /liliPreparation of materials for remuneration committee meetings /liliInvolvement in ad hoc projects as required to respond to changes in remuneration rules /liliInvolvement in director’s emoluments reporting /liliOther annual executive remuneration processes /liliCoordinate with colleagues in the Firmwide Compensation team - together with other departments such as Equity Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Controllers, Legal and Tax /li /ulstrongSKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED /strongpTo be successful in performing and developing in this role, you will need to demonstrate exposure and experience in the majority of the following areas: /pulliGood functional knowledge of Executive Compensation practices and European remuneration regulations /liliGood communication and relationship management skills - ability to understand and articulate complex issues /liliExcellent analytical skills - an ability to review current processes and/or data, detect and correct errors, take responsibility for data quality /liliProject management - prioritize workload and meet deadlines /liliAbility to understand and consider requirements of Firmwide functions, divisions and regions /liliClient service focus, notable responsiveness and a "can-do" attitude /liliGood judgment - knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexible /liliStrong Excel skills required /liliThorough attention to detail /li /ulpstrongCORE COMPETENCIES /strong /pulliFunctional Expertise - keeps up-to-date with emerging business, economic, and market trends /liliTechnical Skills - demonstrates strong technical skills required for the role, pays attention to detail, takes initiative to broaden knowledge and demonstrates appropriate financial/analytical skills /liliDrive and Motivation - successfully handles multiple tasks, takes initiative to improve own performance, works intensely towards extremely challenging goals and persists in the face of obstacles or setbacks /liliClient and Business Focus - effectively handles difficult requests, builds trusting, long-term relationships with clients, helps the client to identify/define needs and manages client/business expectations /liliTeamwork – gives evidence of being a strong team player, collaborates with others within and across teams, encourages other team members to participate and contribute and acknowledges others' contributions /liliCommunication Skills - communicates what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner and shares information/new ideas with others /liliJudgement and Problem solving - thinks ahead, anticipates questions, plans for contingencies, finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectives.
