Automation Technician
for Cognita ,
our technical division for automation and AI, to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated systems and equipment. The ideal candidate has a background in industrial automation, control systems, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
Location: Asti - Località Quarto Inferiore 280
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain automated machinery and control systems
Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and robotics
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related faults
Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and commissioning of new equipment
Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Collaborate with engineering to optimize system performance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Required Qualifications
Laurea in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field or Diploma
Proven experience in industrial automation or similar role
Good knowledge of PLC programming
Experience in manufacturing environment
Fluent in English
Salary - 35k/40k
