OverviewIn this role, you will operate within the Local Data Protection Office as part of the second line of defence, safeguarding GDPR compliance and data protection across the bank. You will work with cross‑functional teams to assess programs, review DPIAs, and support information security controls. You’ll help communicate requirements, support data subject rights, and contribute to independent validations and remediation tracking. The role blends regulatory diligence with practical, business‑facing advisory, within a modern, flexible banking environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport second line oversight of data protection programs and advise business and first line functions on GDPR compliancePromote awareness of data protection requirements across the bank and integrate them into processes and controlsAssist in DPIA reviews and maintenance of the Records of Processing ActivitiesContribute to incident management via second line review of data breach assessments and collaboration with IT/Security on security eventsReview data protection procedures, policies and guidelines and provide independent validation and improvement recommendationsPerform second line controls and gap analyses to identify remediation actions related to data protection and information securitySupport local training programs on data protection and awareness initiatives to strengthen compliance culture and secure information handlingQualificationsExperience of 2 to 4 years in data protection / legal / compliance / computer scienceMaster or equivalent post‑university specialization in data protection or computer science (preferred)Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulationsKnowledge of information technology and computer scienceExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent in English both oral and writtenBenefitsSuper flexible smart workingCompetitive base salaries and performance based bonusesInternational environmentCommitment to sustainabilityLots of training and development opportunitiesBirthday day off (#doyourbirthday)
