Mission: Mission of the role is to support the Program Manager in creating and managing effective configuration management discipline. Main activities: Review and release Configuration Management docs in accordance with international standard AS/EN9100 and EIA 649. Configuration Change Management: co-ordination, approval or rejection and monitoring of all proposed changes to the configuration baseline. CM Boards, CREC/CCB/CIB: Schedule, Facilitate and manage the Configuration meetings, chair the board on behalf of Program Manager if required. Identify and monitor the actions necessary for the proper completion and execution of product changes Define and negotiate the point of embodiment based on Contract and/or production requirements, with a particular focus on time and costs. Control of all introduced changes to the projects throughout the life cycle from the requirement to the production phases. Represent Leonardo Helicopter at Joint Configuration Control meetings with Partner/Customer (when applicable) to coordinate and track changes. Configuration Management procedures: Develop and monitor the implementation of internal procedures related to the proper configuration management guidelines, including customer requirement. Configuration Status Accounting: based to the applicable configuration Changes, monitor the approval and the implementation and assure the collecting of output from the process stakeholders with a specific focus on time and costs. Produce the proper reporting to define the status of the project during the lifecycle. Configuration Audits: Support the audit team as Line CM to collect documents and evidences required to determine product adherence and conformity to the established requirements. Main interfaces: Program Management, Engineering, Industrial Operations including CoE, FAL and Delivery, Procurement and Supply Chain, Customer Support Services and Training, Quality.
