\nVolkswagen Bank is looking for a Legal Intern to join its Legal Department. The selected candidate will be required to have a strong focus on legal matters and will be responsible for the following activities:\n
Legal Activities:
\n
\n
- Support in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents;
\n
- Support in updating corporate powers of attorney;
\n
- Support in managing relationships with external advisors (law firms, lawyers, notaries), also ensuring compliance with all internal procedures and agreed contractual deadlines;
\n
- Support in managing litigation and passive legal proceedings;
\n
- Support in handling customer requests regarding reports made to Credit Information Systems (CIS);
\n
- Support in managing requests for banking inspections, both administrative and criminal;
\n
- Support in managing customer complaints, in coordination with other departments, and in handling customer appeals to the Banking and Financial Arbiter (ABF), the Insurance Arbiter (AAS), and reports/complaints to the Bank of Italy;
\n
- Support and assistance to the Head of Legal in their role as Data Protection Officer.
\n
\nPosition requirements and personal characteristics:\n
\n
- Knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework;
\n
- Degree in Law or equivalent;
\n
- Excellent knowledge of the English language;
\n
- Strong ability to manage stress and work towards objectives;
\n
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
