Role: Project Funding Program Manager Responsibilities include: Identifying and driving external funding opportunities to support local industrial investments, R&D programs, and innovation projects, enhancing business know-how, competitiveness, and performance. Managing external funding relationships with funding authorities from program identification through submission and grant agreement signing. Supporting external funding strategies in collaboration with Business Development, Public Affairs, Engineering, and Innovation teams. Developing documentation to promote Alstom's capabilities and development roadmap during meetings with institutional representatives and authorities. Monitoring regional, national, and European funding opportunities, aligning them with internal needs for investments, R&D, and innovation projects. Serving as the single point of contact for assigned external funding projects, managing applications, and coordinating related activities. Ensuring timely and high-quality preparation of funding documentation, even under high-pressure deadlines. Coordinating with external partners (universities, funding agencies, consultants) and internal teams (R&D, Finance, Legal, Communication, Procurement). Ensuring compliance with external funding requirements across all activities. Organizing regular meetings with project stakeholders and managing communication plans, including dissemination strategies. Supporting post-award audits and follow-ups as needed. Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics or Engineering. 5-7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of railway/mobility products, systems, and industry trends. Experience with managing regional, national, or EU external funding projects. Understanding of external funding rules, including IPCEI and regional/national incentives. Familiarity with technical aspects of investments, innovation, and research programs. Proficiency in tender and project management. Open-minded, perseverant, and collaborative attitude. Organizational agility within a matrix environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and trust-building.
