-Practices and follows all Board of Cosmetology requirements including all sanitation and hygiene standards and complies with local legislation as required.-Utilizes, knows and markets all retail products for guests using the provided prescription cards after each treatment and understands that active selling of retail items is part of this job description.-Extends job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned.-Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.-Participates actively in meetings and trainings provided by the spa management or vendors in regards to treatment protocols, product knowledge and sales techniques.-Plays singing crystal bowls to enhance guest experience in public areas following a training provided by the hotel-Current Florida license as massage therapist by the State Board of Massage Therapy-At least two years’ experience in upscale operation of four or five-diamond spa hotel.-Must be qualified to do Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, prior knowledge/training of specialized massage techniques and body treatments preferred-Ability to remain calm and organized in busy environment.-Bi-lingual abilities desirable.-Knowledge of Book4Time or other computerized spa scheduling system is preferred-Strong communication skills-A strong sense of organization and ability to prioritize in a busy environment-Preferred previous hotel and computer knowledge-A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
