Purpose of Position: The FP&A Cost Controller is responsible for building and managing the Profit & Loss below the Gross Margin, ensuring a thorough analysis of operational and non-operational cost components. This role monitors and interprets variances against the budget and prior years, identifying key drivers of discrepancies and providing strategic recommendations to optimize profitability. The FP&A Cost Controller collaborates with various departments to ensure effective cost control and supports management in financial decision-making through detailed reporting and forecasting analysis. Description of Main Activities/Responsibilities: Manage P&L below Gross Margin, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Control budget values for owners and cost centers, breaking them down by G/L account. Conduct forecasting of P&L by cost center and G/L account. Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. previous year) to identify root causes. Monitor and control operating expenses, fixed costs, and overheads. Prepare financial reports and dashboards to support management decisions. Ensure compliance, internal controls, and process improvements for financial efficiency. Requirements: Education: Degree in Economics or other business-related focus. Professional Skills: Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience: 5 years of experience in finance roles and in multinational companies. Language Skills: Italian & English language knowledge is mandatory. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel. Experience with Tagetik is preferred.
