The role is responsible for delivering savings, value creation, and risk mitigation while supporting business growth in an international environment. /p h3bResponsibilities /b /h3 ul liIdentify, select, and qualify new suppliers while optimizing the existing supplier portfolio /li liConduct ongoing procurement market analyses and monitor relevant indices /li liContinuously identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction measures /li liParticipate in cross-departmental purchasing projects at the European level and actively contribute to the development of international activities /li liExecute regional category spend and deliver financial targets (savings, rebates, payment terms etc.), value creation, and risk-mitigation targets with full accountability. /li liAnalysis and management of supplier data to support the identification and qualification of new suppliers aligned with the global strategy, assisting in their onboarding process and ensuring compliance with legal, quality, and technical requirements. /li liExecute strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives, including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, risk mitigation and performance optimization. /li liIdentify value creation opportunities through alternative raw materials, new technologies, or process improvements. /li /ul h3bBackground /b /h3 ul liAcademic degree in a relevant field (business and/or engineering). /li li3-5 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing /li liExcellent English language skills /li liStrong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel /li liSAP knowledge is an advantage /li liHigh level of initiative and proactive working style /li liSolution-oriented approach and sense of responsibility /li liOccasional travel (trade fairs, supplier visits) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
