Junior Mechanical Customization Engineer

As a Mechanical Customization Engineer, you will be part of the Customization Engineering team, involved in mechanical customizations of high voltage disconnectors, mainly focusing on 3D design and drawing issuance (support frame and mechanical kinematic chain, etc.). Design and sizing will adhere to technical specifications and international standards. You will also support senior engineers in managing technical activities and collaborate closely with R&D.
Job Responsibilities :
* Drawing issuance (CAD and 3D models).
* Mechanical validation of components (calculations and FEM analysis).
* Investigation of alternative materials and manufacturing technologies.
* Redesign of non-critical parts with competence center approval.
* Product customization for frameworks and orders.
* Cost analysis and manufacturing optimization proposals.
* Factory acceptance and type tests witnessing (in internal and external accredited labs).
* Support in resolving non-conformities, risk assessments, and FMEA analysis.
* Preparation of technical documents for internal and external use.
Network & Links :
* Internal : R&D, Tendering Department, Requisition Engineering, Technical Project Managers.
* External : Customers, Accredited Laboratories.
Educational Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical expert with relevant experience.
Experience and Knowledge :
* New graduates or technicians with a few years of experience in mechanical engineering or R&D.
* Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
* Good command of English.
* Knowledge of manufacturing and process technologies.
* FEM analysis skills (optional).
