This role is critical to securing timely authorizations, managing regulatory compliance, and enabling the continuation of mining operations in line with legal, environmental, and sustainability requirements. /p pReporting to the bCluster Operation Director /b, this position requires deep expertise in permitting procedures, environmental and urban planning legislation, and strong coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders. /p h3In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: /h3 ul liCoordinating external consultants and internal teams to obtain mining permits within defined timelines. /li liDefining the most effective permitting procedures based on project scope, regulatory requirements, and environmental constraints. /li liMonitoring project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure permit approval and business continuity. /li liSupporting Geological and Sustainability departments throughout the permitting and authorization processes. /li liManaging relationships with local authorities, municipalities, and regional bodies, including inspections and site visits. /li /ul h3To be successful in this role, you have: /h3 ul liA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geology, with at least 10 years of experience in mining permits or similar regulatory roles. /li liStrong knowledge of environmental, landscape, hydrogeological, and mining legislation relevant to permitting processes. /li liProven experience coordinating consultants and working with government authorities and regulatory bodies. /li liStrong organizational, decision-making, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. /li liExcellent communication skills and fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is required. /li /ul h3Join Sibelco and play a key role in securing the permits that enable responsible and sustainable mining operations.
