At our offices in San Marco Evangelista (Caserta, Italy), we are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Invoicing Supervisor & Financial Controller, Italy. Main Objective The role is responsible for day-to-day invoicing and cost controlling operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting. They support forecasting, budgeting activities, and perform ad-hoc analysis as required. Key Responsibilities Supervise the invoicing process and accounting activities. Collaborate with the CEO Italy to establish budgets and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets. Financial controlling regarding transport and logistics costs: monitor expenditures and variances against budgeted costs weekly, identify areas of concern, and implement corrective actions to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. Prepare dashboards with indicators such as shipment counts per customer, volumes, and profitability daily. Conduct detailed margin analysis by client and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed. Support process improvements to reduce the month-end reporting window by streamlining processes and reorganizing activities. Develop and maintain comprehensive costing methodologies to accurately capture expenses, including direct and indirect costs, labor, materials, and overhead. Conduct regular reviews and audits of costing processes to maintain accuracy and compliance with standards and policies. Perform ad-hoc analysis or investigative work as required. Experience Minimum 3 years in finance and accounting. Experience with accounting/financial systems. Previous controlling experience in groupage or express transport sectors, with knowledge of cost chains (fixed and variable), vehicle and route optimization. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Business-level English, spoken and written. Native or bilingual Italian speaker. Strong MS Excel skills. Ability to perform weekly transport cost trend controls and optimize vehicle usage proactively. Flexible, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive problem solver with a focus on process improvements. Effective at meeting reporting deadlines independently. Willing to work overtime as needed. Excellent analytical skills to synthesize complex data and identify trends. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills for collaboration. Experience in pharma, logistics, or transport is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in finance, accounting, business administration, or related fields.
